Established in 1986, Doves Rest (Winter Haven Christian Center, Inc.) is a Christian based 55+ community.  Our community offers a peaceful and supportive environment for seniors looking to live out their golden years in comfort and companionship or those looking to escape the "winter blues" of the north and bask for a few months in the Florida sun..  Our 128 individual sites are perfect for the snowbird or permenant resident.

What amenities are included with my home purchase?

We have a pool, pickleball, shuffleboard and Yogi's Hideaway (outdoor pavilion and cooking spot for the enjoyment of all.  Our clubhouse hosts twice a month potlucks, special holiday meals, crafts, game nights, Bible studies and community meetings.

Are pets allowed in the community?
Yes, we welcome pets as part of our community family. Certain restrictions apply, so please inquire for more details.

Does Doves Rest provide assisted living?

No.  While we are a caring Christian community that helps our residents who need a little help, we are not an assisted living community.  Residents must be fully functional to enjoy residency.
